Toe-Up Socks, 2 @ a Time

In this knitting class, we will be knitting a pair of socks on circular needles two at a time from the toe up.  Socks make great gifts and are a very portable knitting project since they are small and can be tucked in your purse which means you can knit a few rows while you’re waiting.  Why toe up?  Toe up socks can be tried on while you work so you can adjust the fit.  Why 2 @ a time?  When you are finished this knitting project you will have a pair of socks and won’t have to try to make another one that matches.  This class is for the experienced beginner.  A materials list will be provided.

Techniques used on this project:

  1. Judy’s Magic Cast on, I like to call it figure 8’s
  2. Knitting in the round
  3. Creating a Fleegle heel
  4. Knit them as tall or short as you like
  5. Stretchy Bind off

Please keep in mind before you purchase materials that the class may not yet be confirmed.
