Hypertufa (which is pronounced hyper-toofa) is the name for artificial stone. It is much lighter than stone or concrete and can withstand cold winter temperatures and blazing summer heat equally well. This mixture can also be molded and carved into any shape that you want. Over time, the hypertufa ages gracefully, collecting a patina of mosses and lichens. Learn to create a beautiful garden container and a stepping stone that will last for many years to come, in this one day class.  Class is held at the home studio of the instructor.

Please bring the following to class:

pair of rubber gloves (the type you use for dishwashing)

a dust mask 

a piece of heavy cardboard or plywood to hold your pieces when you transport them home.
