Fall Campaign 2017
Active Dates: 10/25/2017 - 12/31/2017

In August, we discovered extensive water damage to the roof trusses in the pottery studio. Thankfully, the engineer determined we could repair the damaged trusses rather than replace them. Over the next two months, major repairs were completed to ensure our studio was safe from snow, rain, ice storms, and squirrels. Yes, squirrels! They had been living in the attic, and efforts to move them out led to the discovery of the truss and wiring damage - those rodents sure do like to chew.  We also replaced the failing HVAC unit in the pottery studio with a brand new commercial system for our classrooms.

Our pottery studio is the busiest room in the school, with frequent pottery classes, open studio at least three days each week, lots of other messy classes, after school programs, and kids, kids, kids, so we sure are glad to have it back in use and SAFE.

We could use your help rebuilding our reserves after investing nearly $30,000 in this space this fall, working hard to get this building ship-shape before we begin our NEW, EXCITING expansion. We are still in the planning stages and will be thrilled to share it with you when we are ready. We are taking our time to do it right, so thank you for your patience!
